OneLine is designed to calculate scenarios without requiring an account. This draft explains the intended production service as of 12 June 2026.

Important: calculator values can reveal information about your finances. The production service should avoid storing those values unless a feature clearly asks you to save or submit them.

Who operates the service

OneLine is the service operator. Privacy questions can be sent to hello@onelinefinance.com. Operator identity and postal details must be added here before commercial launch.

Information processed

Calculator inputs: values are processed in your browser to produce results and shareable links. Shared links contain the values shown in their address.
Market requests: the server receives the selected benchmark and currency so it can retrieve and cache data. It should not receive your calculator amounts.
Technical logs: hosting providers may temporarily record IP address, browser information, requested pages, timestamps and security events.
Analytics: analytics are disabled by default. If enabled later, this notice and the cookie controls will be updated before collection begins.
Messages: if you contact us, we process the details you provide to answer you.

Purposes and lawful bases

Technical information is processed where necessary to provide, secure and improve the service. Contact information is processed to respond to requests. Consent will be obtained before setting non-essential analytics or advertising cookies.

Sharing and international processing

Information may be processed by hosting, security, email and market-data suppliers where needed to run the service. Supplier names, retention periods and any international-transfer safeguards must be inserted after the production stack is chosen.

Retention

Calculator inputs are not intentionally stored by the current service. Production log and contact-message retention periods will be documented here before launch and kept no longer than necessary.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Changes

This notice will be updated when saved scenarios, accounts, analytics, advertising, affiliate tracking or new suppliers are introduced.
